In 2025 we were approached by Lambeth Council to solve a very large problem at Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens - flooding! Every time it rained the park would make it almost impossible to navigate for the many pedestrians, cyclists and events in the area.

After months of planning we embarked on a massive project which involved digging and laying drainage channels beneath the paths around the park so that excess water would soak off to support the trees while leaving the paths clear for access. If you walk around the area now our work won't catch your eye but you'll be able to walk freely around the park to admire the well watered trees without the need for wellies even in the worst weather!
