This was a summer long project to transform Stockwell Primary School's concrete corridor playground into a lush nature exploration area for the children. We installed new planters for growing, composting area, a pond for watching tadpoles, insect hotel, quiet area, teaching circle, and mud kitchen just for fun! By the way, this school is where David Bowie went as a kid... If you look very closely you'll see we've incorporated a Ziggy Stardust zigzag for the pergola arch design in his honour.
